What happens to my translations if I uninstall?

Translations are saved in your Shopify store, so they stay. The app's own data is deleted 48 hours after uninstalling.

Does the app slow down my store?

No. Translations are served by Shopify. The app embed only loads on pages in a translated language that have custom content, and loads after the page.

Does the app translate automatically?

No. You write or import your own translations, so you stay in control of the wording.

Why isn't a translation showing on my storefront?

• Check that the language is published.
• Check that the translation is saved.
• Make sure you're viewing the language's URL (for example /fr).
• For custom content and images, the Translations app embed must be on in your live theme.
